# Forwarding Guide

### Overview <a href="#overview" id="overview"></a>

The forwarding email guide below will show you how to forward your emails to your IMAP email which are used to unlock your accounts. Although forwarding is not required, it is used to help eliminate time from your setup, in which you would only have to set up IMAP once. This is mainly used if you are running multiple Target accounts.

### Gmail Forwarding

* <mark style="color:purple;">**Add the forwarding email address to the one you will be using for your IMAP.**</mark>

1. Go to your [**Gmail Page**](https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox)**​**
2. *<mark style="color:yellow;">**Click**</mark>* *<mark style="color:purple;">**Settings**</mark>, then <mark style="color:purple;">**See all Settings**</mark>*

3\. Go to your Forwarding tab and then *<mark style="color:yellow;">**Click**</mark>***&#x20;**<mark style="color:purple;">**Add a forwarding address**</mark> <mark style="color:purple;">**& enter your master IMAP email**</mark>

#### Creating a Filter <a href="#creating-a-filter" id="creating-a-filter"></a>

<mark style="color:purple;">**Follow these steps to create the filter for your Gmail**</mark>

1. Go to your [**Gmail Page**](https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox)​
2. <mark style="color:purple;">**Copy this below and paste in the search mailbox:**</mark>                                                                                      from:(<orders@oe1.target.com>) Password reset code

3\. Then <mark style="color:yellow;">**Click**</mark>**&#x20;**<mark style="color:purple;">**Show search options (highlighted).**</mark>

4\. This will pop up afte&#x72;**.&#x20;**<mark style="color:yellow;">**Click**</mark> *<mark style="color:purple;">**Continue or Create Filter (whichever one shows).**</mark>*

5\. <mark style="color:yellow;">**Click**</mark> <mark style="color:purple;">**Forward it to:**</mark> and select the master IMAP email you entered earlier.

### Outlook Forwarding <a href="#outlook-forwarding" id="outlook-forwarding"></a>

For Outlook, all you have to do is set up the filter.

1. First, Go to your [**Outlook Page**](https://outlook.live.com/mail/0/)**.**
2. <mark style="color:yellow;">**Click**</mark> the <mark style="color:purple;">**settings icon**</mark> and search up rules. *<mark style="color:yellow;">**Click**</mark>* <mark style="color:purple;">**Inbox Rules**</mark>**.**

3\. Next, *<mark style="color:yellow;">**Click**</mark>* “Add new rule”.

Target Unlock Emails

&#x20;<mark style="color:yellow;">**From:**</mark>&#x20;

<orders@oe1.target.com>&#x20;

<mark style="color:yellow;">**Subject or body includes:**</mark>&#x20;

*Password reset code*&#x20;

<mark style="color:yellow;">**Forward to:**</mark>&#x20;

*enter master IMAP email*
