Forwarding Guide

Overview

The forwarding email guide below will show you how to forward your emails to your IMAP email which are used to unlock your accounts. Although forwarding is not required, it is used to help eliminate time from your setup, in which you would only have to set up IMAP once. This is mainly used if you are running multiple Target accounts.

Gmail Forwarding

  • Add the forwarding email address to the one you will be using for your IMAP.

  1. Go to your Gmail Pagearrow-up-rightโ€‹

  2. Click Settings, then See all Settings

3. Go to your Forwarding tab and then Click Add a forwarding address & enter your master IMAP email

Creating a Filter

Follow these steps to create the filter for your Gmail

  1. Go to your Gmail Pagearrow-up-rightโ€‹

  2. Copy this below and paste in the search mailbox: from:([email protected]) Password reset code

3. Then Click Show search options (highlighted).

4. This will pop up after. Click Continue or Create Filter (whichever one shows).

5. Click Forward it to: and select the master IMAP email you entered earlier.

Outlook Forwarding

For Outlook, all you have to do is set up the filter.

  1. First, Go to your Outlook Pagearrow-up-right.

  2. Click the settings icon and search up rules. Click Inbox Rules.

3. Next, Click โ€œAdd new ruleโ€.

4. Fill out the form like this:

Target Unlock Emails

From:

[email protected]

Subject or body includes:

Password reset code

Forward to:

enter master IMAP email
